The entire family of K, A, C and I went to have turkey with neighbors/friends Ruth and her family. There were 4 generations attending, plus her brother and his wife. They treat us like family, we have lived next to them for 10 years. Ruth is like an extra grandparent for A and C.
We brought the Pineapple/Marshmallow salad, but all of the standard stuff was there.
Tomorrow, we will celebrate our own turkey day. I will cook the usual turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, cinnamon sugar rolls, cheesecake, Pineapple/Marshmallow salad. I believe that it is time to draft A and C into helping so they get a feel for what and how things are done.
