Update on the computer

The computer had been running without issue for 6days, which means that the one memory module was bad. Now the real challenge: Do I change the computer for a new one or just buy a couple of new memory modules?

Decisions.

Our IT department replaces ever 3 years, whether you need it or not. Of course, we sell them, so it makes sense for us....

If yours is working fine, I wouldn't bother changing it yet, especially if you have to get Vista.

If you do buy, let me know and I can see what kind of deal you might get through our employee purchase plan. Depending on what you're looking for, it can be cheaper to get it through Wallyworld or Amazon or Office Despot or whatever, especially if you're buying a pre-configured loss-leader...

(BTW, it's up to you to turn off my charming picture -- an option under the settings tab->comments in Manage Posts. Otherwise, I'll keep staring and staring and staring at you, mwahahahahaaaaaa.)
