Last Update for K and the Gall Stones

K is doing much better today. She is eating without nausea and has only limited pain, typically A. A will get her laughing and the incisions will hurt, and A will keep going making K laugh harder, making it hurt more, but in a good way, I guess.

Wooohoooo!! Great News!

Once I hit this point, the worst for me was when nursing M would try to fiddle with the bandaids and incisions, or when my pants' waistband slid over one. I went to elastic pants and tucked-in shirts for a week or so.

Yeah buddy! Mend K, Mend! (Oh..and tell Miss A that she takes after her Uncle Don Holzer...who made it his mission in life to make me laugh repeatedly, just 12 short hours after my appendectomy! I thought the nurse was going to ban him from Flower Hospital!)

Glad to hear that K is doing better - yes laughing is painful. I told my friends after my recent surgery, "I'm going to laugh my stiches out!" Fun and no fun at the same time....
